Specialist Autism Coaching and Counselling
Autism specific coaching and counselling is a very valuable resource for autistic individuals and involves working together to implement strategies and tools that align with an individual's unique experiences, wishes and goals. Autism is a lifelong neuro-difference which means society can benefit from a rich and diverse amount of skills, knowledge, perspectives and human experiences. This includes supporting within the therapy room, in a work setting or at school dependent on the individuals specific needs. The aim of the coaching and counselling sessions is to have a safe space to talk and where any systemic, personal or situational barriers can be overcome. My work involves using my own extensive and on-going experience within the field of Autism to bring together different tools to help you to navigate day to day life and flourish.
I am able to work with Autistic individuals pre and post diagnosis and can support around the following areas;
- Pre-diagnosis and newly-diagnosed support
- Support around motivation and to work towards SMART goals.
- Job Coaching, cv support and interview role play and support.
- Using art therapy to bring together ideas and storytelling
- Autistic Burnout
